  Barre World January 28, 2009 POIRIER, REGINALD PHILODOR, 86, of Lower Websterville, died January 19 at his home. Born July 21, 1922, in Randolph, he was the son of Philodor and Belle (Dwyer) Poirier and had attended schools on Braintree Hill. On July 7, 1940, he married Evelyn May Rollins in Newbury, who died on Jan. 25, 1997. He worked as a logger and a granite sawyer at the former Associated Memorials in Barre. Woodworking, hunting and fishing were his special interests. He was a veteran of U.S. Army service during World War II. Survivors include his daughters, Sheila LaPerle of Williamstown and Gail Bylow of Barre City; and his son, David Poirier, also of Williamstown; as well as 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
