Deuso, Yvonne C., 63, of South Barre, died Aug. 2, at the Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington after a brief illness. Born Oct. 28, 1941, in Barre, she was the daughter of Reginald and Evelyn (Rollins) Poirier. She attended Lower Websterville Elementary School and graduated from Spaulding High School in Barre in 1959.
On November 26, 1960, she married Charles "Sonny" Deuso in St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Graniteville. They made their home in Holyoke, Mass., and later Graniteville before moving to their Maple Street home in South Barre in 1993. They had been married for nearly 45 years.
Survivors include her husband, Charles "Sonny" Deuso of South Barre; two daughters, Penny Keifer and her husband, Jon of Arcanum, Ohio, and Wendy Farnham and her husband, Michael of Barre Town; four grandchildren; her father, Reginald Poirier of Websterville; a brother, David Poirier and his wife, Kay of Williamstown; two sisters, Sheila LaPerle and her husband, Eugene of Williamstown and Gail Bylow and her husband, Brent of Barre; many nieces and nephews.
A son, Reginald Deuso, and her mother, Evelyn Poirier, predeceased her.
