  The Daily Oklahoman February 20, 1959 Watonga - Edwin S. Van Brunt, 77, who died Thursday in Oklahoma City, was the son of the late Dr. E.W. Van Brunt who established a medical office here in a tent, and later operated a drugstore here. Van Brunt and his father later operated a drugstore here. Van Brunt and his father operated stores in Waurika and Taloga, with the younger man operating the store at Taloga. He later worked for a wholesale drug firm and traveled western Oklahoma. He later lived in McAlester before moving to Oklahoma City 37 years ago.
