  Evelyn Faye was born December 20, 1895 near Arriba, Colorado in a sod house and was married to Orville Clarence Mitchell August 31, 1919 at a double wedding with her brother Otto at the Christian Church in Giltner, Nebraska. They lived on her parent's farm for six years where two of their children were born. They moved to Xenia, Ohio where Orville worked with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. and retired about 1934. Faye and Orville had three children: Leland Orville, born December 18, 1920 near Giltner, Nebraska; Helen Marie, born February 2, 1922 near Giltner, Nebraska; Don Allen, born November 4, 1925 at Xenia, Ohio.
