  New York Passenger Lists Ship Samaria from Chile, via Liverpool, arrived New York 22 November 1937 ____ The Plain Dealer July 10, 2016 BARBARA CREW LONG, age 90, beloved wife of the late James K., loving mother of Elizabeth (Frank) Lavallo, James, and David (Joan), passed away on July 5, 2016. Raised in Santiago Chile, Barbara came to the United States at the age of 16 and received her undergraduate degree at Ohio Wesleyan University and her RN and MSN degrees at Western Reserve University, where she taught as an Associate Professor at the CWRU Frances Payne School of Nursing. During her tenure, Barbara coedited several textbooks on Medical Surgical Nursing used around the world. Barbara and Jim enjoyed a full life of travel, skiing and fine dining with family and friends.
