  The Columbus Dispatch (OH) October 14, 2008 ELBIN Beatrice A. Elbin, 90, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2008 in Indianapolis. She was a long time resident of Columbus, Oh. Beatrice was born September 29, 1918 and graduated 1936 from Columbus North High School. A member Karl Road Baptist Church and past Board Member of Savannah Estates Condominium Association. Beatrice was active in causes for those with developmental disabilities. Preceded in death by her loving husband John and sister Janet Wheeler. Survived by son, John Elbin of Indianapolis; daughter, Joan Elbin of Westerville and grandchildren, John and Julie Elbin of Indianapolis; brother, Bill Behmer of Columbus; and sister, Doris McDaniel of Bonita Springs, Florida.
