  The Tribune-Star (Terre Haute, IN) June 8, 2015 Victor L. Saberton, 88, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born November 25, 1926 in Terre Haute to Earl E. Saberton and Sarah Corenflos Saberton. Survivors include his son, Chris Riggs-Saberton (Karen) of San Diego, CA; daughter, Carol Sue Saberton of West Terre Haute; step-daughter, Yvonne K. Avary (John) of Terre Haute; daughter-in-law, Margaret DeLong of Terre Haute; sister-in-law, Virginia Saberton of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Melissa Etling (Jay), Ryan DeLong (Sarah), Jerod DeLong (Sarah), and Zachary Avary; five great grandchildren; and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Saberton; his parents; step-son, Mark DeLong; two sisters; and one brother. Victor had worked at Quaker Maid, T.H. Regional Hospital, and Pfister & Company. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of West Terre Haute, a Navy Veteran, and was a Colts and Pacers fan.
