  Community Family Funeral Home Mary "Betty" Elizabeth Harper age 88, died July 31, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Richmond. She was born to Charles and Eva Taber Bowman on January 24, 1924, in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was a 1941 graduate of Richmond High School. She married Daniel A. Harper June 17,1945, in Richmond, Indiana. Daniel passed away October 17, 1977. Betty worked at local grocery stores including A&P Grocery and Cox's Supermarket. In her spare time she enjoyed Crocheting and working word puzzles. She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters: Judith (Raymond) Gilbert, Nancy (Ronny) Robinson; seven grandchildren: Dawn Stover (Donnie Durance) of Clewiston, Florida, Kenneth Charles Jr. (Donnetta Rice) of Winchester, Kentucky, Scott Smith (Kim Braun) of Richmond, Angela (Larry) Chamberlain of Richmond, Douglas Charles of Richmond, Shain (Sarah) Wyka of West Alexandria, Ohio, N. Daniel (Brandy) Thorn of Richmond; one sister: E. Geraldine Gauker; three Step-grandchildren: Raymond J. Gilbert Jr. of New Paris, Ohio, Kimberly Thompson of New Paris, Ohio, Genie Brock of Washington, Indiana; twenty-three Great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she is proceded in death by a daughter: Cheryl Collett August 21, 2004; Granddaughter: Robin Stover October 29, 1969, her parents; and two brothers: Charles H. Bowman Jr., G.
