  The Columbus Dispatch (OH) November 15, 2015 Joan Marie Elbin, affectionately known as Joanie, age 67, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Kobacker House. She was born on September 6, 1948 and resided in Columbus since 1971. She was employed at ARC Industries North for 41 years. Joanie had a zest for life, and only saw the good in people and things. She was universally liked, and had a positive, heartwarming impact on all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her companion, Scottie Wellman; roommates, Kathy Hardy and Joyce Pollock; guardian, Sally Rouault; brother, John Elbin; nephew, John Elbin and niece, Julie Elbin.
