  The Sacramento Bee (CA) August 3, 2008 BUTCHER, Margaret ''Peggy'' 1924 - 2008, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2008, surrounded by her loving family, after losing her courageous three year battle with cancer. Margaret spent all of her 83 years on this earth loving life and her family. She bestowed to all who knew her, her love of music, books, flower arranging, animal welfare, lighthouses, angels, Spirituality and, of course, her love for Pink Parties. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Kenneth, daughters Sylvia Hughes and Irene Green, Sons in law, David Green and Alan Hughes, Brother and Sister-in-law Kenneth, Jr. and Sandra Shaffer, Brother in-law, John Hinton, Grandson, Jason Green, many nieces and nephews and countless extended family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Kenneth Shaffer, Sr. and her Sister, Georgia Hinton - they led her way.
