  Press and Sun-Bulletin September 28, 1962 Donald Haskell, 48, an operator of Haskel & Sons Dairy in Town of Chenango, died at 4 p.m. yesterday in Binghamton General Hospital, following an appendicitis operation last week. Mr. Haskell, a bachelor, lived in River Road, Chenango Bridge. He and his brother, LaVerne were operators of the dairy since the death in 1956 of their father, J. E. Haskell, who was founder of the business. The dairy is situated in River Road. A niece of Mr. Haskell said his death was unexpected and that he had apparently been recovering well from surgery until yesterday. His survivors include his mother, Mrs. J. E. Haskell of Binghamton RD 3, his brothers, Ralph, Thewlbert and LaVerne, and a sister, Mrs. Melvin Staub of Manlius.
