Polly Phillips Dodge, 88, of Warrenton, VA died on April 26, 2012 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton, VA. She was born on March 27, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA the daughter of Lotilla Chloe and Albert G. Phillips. She was a Medical Corps WAVE in the U.S. Navy, Tupperware Manager, and later worked and retired from Bell Telephone. Polly was a member of The Women in Military Service for America Memorial Foundation, the only major national memorial honoring all women who served in our nation's defense throughout history. Polly married Joseph Francis Dodge on January 28, 1956 and enjoyed 56 years of love and commitment in their relationship, a true living testimony to the sanctity of marriage. Polly was a member of Little Fork Church in Warrenton, VA and enjoyed baking, going to the beach, roller skating, water skiing, sewing, and quilting for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Francis Dodge, son Brian Ensworth Dodge of Midlothian, VA, daughter Diana Ensworth Nickels of Stafford, VA, grandchildren Tiffany Chanel Nickels, Cameron Ensworth Dodge, Paul Susepit, Anthony Accetta, Robin Accetta Riley, Latasha Antionette Harris, Jenica Joy Dodge, and Jason Terrell Nickels, and great-grandchildren Vincent, Juliana, and Cameron.
