OGDEN -- Our father, grandfather, and brother, Ralph B. Williams, 77, died Wednesday, October 31, 2001. He was born November 30, 1923 in Iona, Idaho, a son of Ezra Lyle and Eda Blaser Williams.
On October 9, 1947, Ralph married Wilma Janette Waugh in Burley, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. Wilma died January 21, 1989.
He was reared and educated in Iona and Idaho Falls, Idaho. He was a longtime resident of Utah and Southern California.
Ralph was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He served during World War II in Europe and was an expatriated POW.
Ralph worked as a sales manager in the freight industry. He was a member of the American Legion. Ralph enjoyed fishing, golfing and time spent with his family.
Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Kelly (Laurie) Williams, Orlando, Fla.; Scott (Mary) Williams, Corona, Calif.; Lucille (Daniel) Bush, Brea, Calif.; Eileen (Kerry) Sanofsky, Pleasant View; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Ralph is also survived by two brothers and two sisters, Lyle (Gladys) Williams, Robert (Lillian) Williams, Jan (Wally) Hoffman, Bonnie (Dean) Dixon; and two sisters-in-law, Rosie Williams, and Barbara Anderson.
He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers, Lucille Williams, Fred Williams, and Steve Williams.
