  The Deseret News July 9, 2003 Jan Hoffman, beloved wife, sweet mother, grandma, great-grandma, daughter, sister and friend, passed away in the morning of July 7, 2003 with her husband, Wally, at her side. Janice Ione Williams was born to Eda and Lyle Williams on January 17, 1927 in Iona, Idaho. She married Seth Wallace Hoffman, Jr. in Idaho Falls, Idaho on April 2, 1947 and they were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple in January 1964. They were blessed with seven children; three daughters: Leslie (Dennis) Hall of Castro Valley, CA; Carrie (Rick) Nye of Orem, UT; Sydney (Tim) Izatt of St. George, UT; and four sons: Jon of American Fork, UT; Joel (Cydni) of West Valley, UT; David (Jennifer) of Palm Desert, CA; and Christopher (Karen) of Joplin, MO. Her posterity includes 30 grandchildren and 12 great-grand-children so far. She is also survived by her brother Bob (Lie) Williams of Chevy Chase, MD; and sister Bonnie (Dean) Dixon of Idaho Falls, ID. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
