Allen passed away March 2, 2008 surrounded by his family. Neal was born October 30, 1924 in Riverton, Utah to Ellis Cyrus and Minnie Adeline Nichols Allen. Neal was sealed to Beverly Darlene Gressmen Sept. 16, 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple for Time and All Eternity, who preceded him in death. They raised four children, Mike (Vickie) Allen, Burley, ID; Cathy (Ralph) Norris, Sandy, UT; Kelly (Darlene) Allen, Rupert, ID; Penni (Lindsay) Shepherd, Riverton, UT. Neal is a lifetime resident of Riverton. He served in the US Army during World War II and the Korean War and retired from the Utah National Guard. Neal enjoyed gardening and watching Jazz games but most of all spending time with his family. Neal is survived by his four children, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two sisters Gwenith (Earl) Hyer of Salt Lake City, Utah; and Donna (Robert) Moehle of Glendora, California. Preceded in death by one great-grandson. Interment Riverton Cemetery.
