  Post Register (Idaho Falls, ID) January 26, 2013 Lynn Richard Huffaker, 78, of Idaho Falls, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Good Samaritan Center-Idaho Falls Village of natural causes. He was born April 28, 1934, in Idaho Falls to Allen Cromwell Huffaker and Sarah Theressa Merrill Huffaker. He grew up in Menan and in 1952, graduated from Rigby High School. After moving to Idaho Falls, he met his eternal companion, Beverly Mae Bulkley, and Nov. 2, 1956, they were married in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Lynn served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1964. He was a long-distance truck driver for more than 45 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully throughout his life; he especially loved serving in the temple. As a young man, he served a mission to the New England States and Canada in 1955. Lynn loved fishing, hunting, reading, woodworking, studying history, and was an avid gardener, which he took great pride in; he was especially known for his exceptional gladiolus. Lynn was a kind, loving husband and father. He is survived by his sons, Mark Lynn Huffaker of Idaho Falls and Scott Craig (Lisa) Huffaker of Pocatello; sisters, Beth (Fred) Wald of Salt Lake City, Gay (Lester) Clark of Menan, Patricia (Ross) McMullen of Wendell, N.C., Deana Turman of Missoula, Mont., and Arba Huffaker of Idaho Falls; a sister-in-law, Laura Huffaker of Rigby; and a brother, Robert (Karen) Huffaker of Menan. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly, who passed away Aug. 14, 2010; a son, Eric Huffaker; and a brother, Merrill Huffaker.
