  The Deseret News February 19, 1993 Phillis Shaw Harkness, age 80, died February 17, 1993. Born October 23, 1912 in Hyrum, Utah to Charles and Emma Williams Shaw. Married Robert Harkness June 17, 1931; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died December 26, 1966.She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, enjoyed her association with her friends at the Magna Senior Citizen Center. May she rest in peace. Survived by three children, daughter, Gloria Cashman, Dallas Texas; sons, Robert and wife Francine, and David and wife Kareen; sisters, Priel Erickson and Mern Mills; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
