Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, LaMar Shaw passed away from complications of cancer Aug. 15, 2009 at his home in Magna, Ut. surrounded by has family. LaMar was born Oct. 27, 1925 to Charles Morris and LuPriel Clegg Shaw in Magna, Ut. He attended Cyprus High School after which he served in the Navy for two years during World War II. He married his high school sweetheart, Luella Davis on Oct. 24, 1945 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were married for almost 64 years. He worked for Kennecott Copper for 37 years. LaMar also belonged to the LDS Church and had many callings. He was dearly loved by his family and friends.
LaMar is survived by his wife; children, Marsha (Lanny) Herron, serving a mission in Ukraine, Christie (Scott) Jensen, Randy (Lisa) Shaw, Janelle (Kevin) Day; 13 grand-children, and one great grandchild. Preceded in death by his parents and six siblings.
