LAYTON--Helen Theresa Reynolds Allen, age 68, died May 19, 1992 at her home after a brief illness.
She was born February 20, 1924 in Hyrum, Utah, a daughter of Joseph William and Theresa Christiansen Reynolds.
Married Joseph Reuben Allen, May 26, 1944 in the Logan LDS Temple; he preceded her in death January 3, 1981. A member of the LDS Church, a visiting teacher for many years. She enjoyed temple work and other ward organizations. Enjoyed cooking, her yard and her children, she was very honest and straight forward with people.
Surviving sons and daughters, Joseph and Truby Allen, German Town, Maryland; Reynolds B. and Vicki Allen, Summerville, South Carolina; Carl F. and Leah Allen, Highland; Mrs. Bill (Theresa) Cardall, and Mrs. Bob (Sherol) Jensen, all of Roy; Mrs. David (Marilyn) King, Kaysville; Mrs. Perry (Karen) Peacock, Gastonia, North Carolina; 38 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Tom Reynolds, Salt Lake City; Joe Reynolds, Pleasant Hill, Calif.; Carl Reynolds, Canton, Mich.; Lois Hale, Logan; Emma Harris, Young Ward; Rae Sorenson, Woodland, Calif.; Rea Sorenson, Woodland, Calif.; Edna Jensen, Rexburg, Idaho; Joyce Miller, Hyrum. Preceded in death by one brother and two grandsons.
