  The Deseret News March 29, 2002 Gary S. Harenberg passed away peacefully March 28, 2002 at the age of 66. Gary was born Sept. 30, 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Sylvan Lorenzo and Beth Allen Harenberg. Gary will always be remembered for his sense of humor, generosity, and great love for his family and friends. He was eager to help anyone. He was a lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was a High Priest, and held many positions of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working with his hands. He is survived by his wife, Ann; children: Randy (Carlene), Cristi (David), Cindy (Vern), and Rick. He is also survived by his sister, Jan (Ed Rhoton of Flagstaff, AZ); 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild, Stacy.
