  Post Register (Idaho Falls, ID) May 6, 2003 Treva Lee Petersen, 88, of Rigby, died May 4, 2003, at the Rexburg Nursing Center from natural causes. She was born June 5, 1914, in Ammon, to Niels Siverin Lee and Lena Francis Helmondollar Lee. She attended schools in Am-mon and Ucon, and was active in dances, operettas, glee club and girls basketball, playing on the varsity for four years. She graduated from Ucon High School in 1934. On Oct. 6, 1934, she married Lloyd Franklin Petersen in Ucon. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on July 18, 1951. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, teaching in many auxillaries of the church, and served as a ward and stake Relief Society President and full-time missionary with her husband in the North Carolina LDS Mission. She enjoyed working in the temple, music, and painting and was a very loving mother and grandmother; her joy in life was her family. Survivors include two daughters, Jeanette Francis (Kerry) Sparks and Barbara Ann (Edwin) Bloxham, both of Rigby; a son, Dale Lloyd (Maureen) Petersen of Idaho Falls; four sisters, Edris Lee Moore of Idaho Falls, Nina Lee Holst of Phoenix and Livina May Lee Seedall and Cora Fay Lee Melgaard, both of Idaho Falls; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Dennis Wayne Petersen; two sisters; and three brothers.
