  The Deseret News August 25, 2005 Ruth Paul Yeates 1922 ~ 2005 MAGNA- Ruth Paul Yeates peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on August 24, 2005. Ruth was born October 23, 1922 to Ruel and Eleanor Paul in Magna, Utah. She was a graduate of Cyprus High School. Ruth married Troy K. Yeates on March 28, 1942 in Las Vegas, NV. Later solemnized in Salt Lake Temple. She worked for 28 years at Varian. She was an active member of the L.D.S. church and served in various callings throughout her life, including performing name extraction for six years. She loved to attend the Temple. She loved to travel with Troy. They went to many countries in the world and visited every state but Alaska. She was very talented at and loved to crochet. Grandma Ruth loved her children and grandchildren very much and loved spending time with them. She is survived by husband, Troy K. Yeates, sons Bruce K. (Pam) Yeates and Jerry T. (Michele) Yeates; sister Belva Rudolph; six grandchildren, 16 1/2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Lucille Davis, and grandson Todd Yeates. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
