  Yell County Courier January 24, 1996 Mr, Loyd Russel Crowe, age 76, of Daranelle, AR died Thursday, January 18, 1996 at the Dardanelle Hospital. He was born September 25, 1919 in Carden Bottoms, Yell county, Arkansas to the late Arthur and Goly Dean Crowe. He was a WWII disabled Army veteran, 32nd degree Mason, retired auditor with the Dardanelle-Russelville Railroad, member pf the Dardanville First United Methodist Church, American Legion, VFW Post 8383 and DAV. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ava Partridge. Survivors: wife, Emma Keltner Crowe; three sons, David Crowe of Rudy, AR, Jerry Crowe and Brian Crowe, both of Dardanelle; brother, Robert Crowe of Carden Bottoms, AR, sister Helen Pool of Richardson, TX; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
