  The Gazette (Colorado Springs, CO) August 28, 2009 Virginia Mottram Kellogg 1930 - 2009 Virginia Caryl, 78, passed away August 23, 2009 at home after an extended illness. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 17, 1930 to Harold Medley and Gladys (Glasgow) Mottram. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy and Ellen; one grandson, Chris; two granddaughters, Erin and Spencer; three great grand-children, Tyler, Jonah and Kendall and her beloved dogs. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Mary Frances and Jeanne, husband Don and her son Davi She graduated from Columbia College of Nursing in 1951 and was recognized in "Who's Who in American Nursing" in 1984. Following retirement, she began volunteering with Pikes Peak Obedience Club and started their therapy dog program and worked as a "Doll Lady" for the Goodwill Doll Sales for over 10 years.
