  Bellingham Herald October 5, 1943 Mrs. Alice May MacArthur, aged 28 years, passedaway at the home 3607, Julia Avenue, Monday, Oct. 4, following a lingering illness. Mrs. MacArthur has lived in Bellingham for the past 23 years and is survived by her husband Paul MacArthur and one daughter Juanita of the home.; her mother L.C. Philan, Seattle; four brothers, Harry Warner in the U. S. Army, located in California; Jess Warner of Bellingham; Douglas Warner also in the U.S. Army, now home on leave; Philip Toner who has been missing in action since the Coral Sea Battle.
