Services for Cletus A, Boehmer, 68, a resident of 511 15th Ave., who died Saturday evening at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital will be 10 am Wednsday at the Immaculate Conception Church. Rev. Paul J. Otting will celebrate the Mass. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens.
Cletus Albert Boehmer was born Dec. 28, 1909, in Chickasaw county, the son of George and Mary Kobliska Boehmer. He was educated in St, William Catholic school at Alta Vista. On April 17, 1934 he and Thelma O'Donnell were married at Alta Vista. Boehmer was a retired framer having farmed in Chickasaw and Floyd county. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Catholic Order of Foresters.
Surviving is his wife, Thelma: four daughters, Mrs. William (Yvonne) Smith of Des Moines, Mrs. Dean (Marilyn) Good of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Monita Tobin of Garner and Mrs. Clifford (Marjorie) Kolthoff of Waterloo; a daughter in law, Mrs. William (Kathleen) Jacobs of Charles City; and three sons, David of Charles City, Daniel of Aurora, Colo., and Norbert of Des Moines. There are 26 chrandchilfren ans one great grandchild. Also durviving is a brother, Ray Boehmer of Elma and a sister, Mrs. Carlton (Margaret) of Harmony, Minn.
