  Moscow-Pullman Daily News December 15, 2007 A graveside service for Grace C. Warner, 86, will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at the Rock Creek Cemetery. Pastor Kathy Kramer will officiate the service. Mrs. Warner passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, at Aspen Park Healthcare in Moscow. She was born on July 10, 1921, at Sumas, Wash., to Cornelius F. and Mildred (Bargewell) Ecklor. She attended her schooling at Deming, Wash., and graduated from Mt. Baker High School in 1939. When she was 16 years of age, she worked at Kales Cannery while in high school for three years. In 1942 she started working for Sears department store as a parts buyer for mail-order items and retail equipment items in the store. She was so proud of this position she had until 1947. She married Douglas Warner April 20, 1947, at Bellingham, Wash., and she was a homemaker most of her married life. The couple made their home in the Bellingham area. The couple moved to Potlatch in 1995 to live near their son in the Rock Creek area, south of Potlatch. In 2005 the couple moved to the Clark house in Moscow. She just moved to the Aspen Park Healthcare the day she died. Grace enjoyed gardening, canning, amateur painting, embroidering and reading. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Douglas Warner at Moscow; one son, Dewey W. (Bill) Warner, and his wife, Jenny, of Potlatch; brother, Danny R. Ecklor, and two sisters, Donna J. Ethridge and Judy A. Morgan, all of Washington; and two grandchildren.
