She was born Nov. 16, 1924, in Waterloo Iowa and lived in La Canada for 20 years prior to settling in Upland in 1978. Grace was a dynamic businesswoman. She owned and operated Tax Accounting Associates as the Enrolled Agent unti l 1999, when she retired. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Upland and other community organizations. Grace was loved and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James (Annette) of Ellensburg Washington; a daughter and son-in-law, Jane Sundberg (Nils) of Upland; three grandchildren, Yvonna Claeys of Grand Junction, Colo., Janelle and Daniel Sundberg of Upland; and one great-grandchild, Nathaniel Phillip Claeys.
