  St. Petersburg Times (FL) October 29, 2000 JEWELL, DAVID MICHAEL, 58, of Marianna, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday (Oct. 18, 2000) at Shands at the University of Florida hospital as the result of a house fire. He was born in St. Petersburg and moved from here to Marianna. He was an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Helen; a stepdaughter, Cindy Hughes, a son, Matthew, and a stepson, William Hughes, all of Marianna; three brothers, John D. III, Timothy P. and Kit, and a sister, Kathleen Bossert, all of St. Petersburg.
