Louise I. Brown, 68, Sweet Springs, Mo., formerly of Liberty, died March 14, 1993, at the home.
Mrs. Brown was born in Polk County, Mo., and lived in Liberty before moving to Sweet Springs in 1969. She was a schoolteacher, stenographer and bookkeeper. She received a teaching certificate from Southwest Baptist College, Bolivar, Mo. She was a member and former secretary of the church.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Brown of the home; two sons, the Rev. Gerald Brown, Kansas City, and Rick Brown, Marshall Junction, Mo.; two daughters, Joyce Eckhoff, Sweet Springs, and Cheryl Parrish, Kansas City; eight brothers, Vincent Newcomb, Carrollton, Mo., Charles Newcomb, San Jose, Calif., Valentine Newcomb, Columbia, Paul David Newcomb, Fort Worth, Texas, Therial Newcomb and Homer Newcomb of Joplin, Mo., Dr. Arthur Newcomb, Russellville, Mo., and Robert Baney, Linn, Texas; two sisters, Violet Cook, Bolivar, and Juanita Langford, Mexico, Mo.; and six grandchildren.
