  Providence Journal (RI) August 17, 2002 ROBERT C. NICOLAN, 58, of East Briggs Road, a carpenter, died Thursday at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. Born in Fall River, a son of John Nicolan of Raynham, Mass., and the late Lucille (Boulay) Nicolan, he had lived in Westport all his life. Mr. Nicolan worked for area contractors, and was a member of Local 1305. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Besides his father, he leaves a daughter, Misty L. Teixeira of Fall River; a son, Dale Allen in Ohio; a brother, Gerald Nicolan of Westport; four sisters, Charlene Souza of Stuart, Fla., Mariette Mandley of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Sandra Belisle and Karen Carreira, both of Westport; and three grandchildren. He was the companion of Carolyn Montecalvo of Coventry.
