  Worcester Telegram & Gazette April 11, 1990 ALBERT B. DRECHSLER JR. STOW TOWN CONSTABLE STOW - Albert B. Drechsler Jr., 60, of 86 Boon Road died of heart failure yesterday in the Marlboro Hospital. He was the husband of Joan M. (Brackett) Drechsler. He also leaves one son, Karl A. Drechsler of Hope, Maine; two daughters, Peggy A. Drechsler of Vergennes, Vt., and Ruth E. Drechsler-Martel of Middletown, Conn.; one sister, Elaine W. Wray of Hudson; one niece; and two nephews. The Drechslers celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary June 17. He was born in Marlboro, the son of Albert B. Sr. and Annie G. (Woodman) Drechsler, and lived in Stow all his life. He operated the Drechsler Farms in Stow for 33 years, retiring in 1986. He graduated from the former Hale High School in Stow in 1947 and received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Vermont in 1951. He was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Hudson, the Charles A. Welch Lodge of Masons in Maynard, the Scottish Rite and the Aleppo Shrine Temple of Wilmington and the Massachusetts Fruitgrowers Association. He was former chairman of the Stow Republican Town Committee, and was serving as Stow town constable at the time of his death.
