  Shoreline Times March 4, 1948 Abram E. Mack, dean of the Masonic Veterans' Association of Connecticut, died at his home, 108 East Pearl Street, New Haven on Wednesday, February 25, aged 97 years. A son of Henry L. Mack, one-time deputy warden at the Connecticut State Prison, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frederick Goebel of New Haven and a son, Philip S. Mack of Hamden. He was a member of Hiram Lodge, No. 1, A.F. & A.M.since April 14, 1879 and was also a veteran member of Franklin Chapter R.A.M., Harmony Council, New Haven Commandery No. 2, Knights Templar, Pyramid Temple, Shriners and the Second Comany, Governor's Foot Guard. For many years he conducted a carriage shop in George street. Burial in Alderbrook Cemtery here.
