Services for Louis C. Bullington, 87, rural Emerson, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Nelson-Boylan Funeral Chapel Red Oak, with the Rev. George Weitzel officiating.
Burial will be at Walnut cemetery.
Mr. Bullington was born March 2, 1902, near Oak Hill, Mo., to Henry and Emma Bullington. He married Frances Kellenbarger in March 1925, at the home of the bride's parents in West township, Montgomery county. He lived and farmed all of his life in West township. He was a member of Champion Hill Presbyterian Church and was a former township assessor and for several years served as township trustee. He also served on the Farm Bureau Board and was an ASCS committeeman.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Wayne L. Bullington of Titusville; Fla., and Max E. Bullington of Brazoria, Texas; three daughters, Charlene Larsen of Aurora, Colo., Marilyn Krisinger of Griswold and Emma Lou Weitzel of West Des Moines; 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; one brother, Harvey Bullington of Red Oak; and four sisters, Estella Webb and Corrine Hermone, both of San Jose, Calif., Berniece Rodebush of Sunny Vale, Calif., and Gladine Scarbrough of Gilroy, Calif.
