Services for Frances Bullington, 89, Emerson, will be Friday, July 7, at Nelson-Boylan Funeral Chapel in Red Oak. The Rev. Jeff Dadisman officiates and burial is in Walnut Cemetery southeast of Emerson in Montgomery county. She died Saturday (July 1, 1995) at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak following an extended illness.
Mrs. Bullington was born Nov. 15, 1905 in West Township of Montgomery county to Walter and Bertha (Navert) Kellenbarger. She married Louis Bullington on December 25, 1926, and he died on April 5, 1989. The couple farmed all of married life in West township and she had resided at Vista Gardens Care Center in Red Oak the past three years. She was a member of Champion Hill Prsebyterian Church and Champion Hill Ladies Aide. For many years she was secretary of Walnut Cemetery Association and memorials are suggested to the association.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne and his wife, Georgia, of Titusville, FL and Max and his wife, Coleen, of Brazoria, TX; three daughters, Charlene Larsen of Aurora CO, Marilyn Krisinger and her husband, Stan, of Griswold and Emma Lou Weitzel and her husband Lee, of Phoenix, AZ; 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby Shelley of Loveland, CO and Ella Bullington of Longmont, CO.
