  Douglas County Sentinel (GA) April 23, 2011 Funeral services for Dusky Ann Langdon Sprong, formerly of Anniston, AL and Clarksville, IN will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. T. R. Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Anniston Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Sprong died on Friday after a short illness. Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Susie and Johney Yarbrough, Betsy Starr, Jane Word, Judy and Alex Marler, Stacy and Dianne Word and Mike and Chris Word as well as many other beloved nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Jessie Word and Amy Sheehan: brother Glenn Langdon and niece, Jo Ann Word Taylor. Pallbearers will be Brent Yarbrough, Jake Owen, Alex Marler III, Charlie Starr, Charlie Word, Jeff Word, William Taylor, Jr. and Brian Taylor. Mrs. Sprong was born on July 7, 1912 in Evansville, Indiana and is a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Jeffersonville, IN.
