  Ventura County Star (CA) February 10, 1998 Linda Raagaard Abbott age 60 of Oxnard passed away Feb. 7 1998 in Oxnard after a lengthy illness. Born Sept. 7 1937 in Santa Monica Calif. she had been a county resident for 41 years coming from San Fernando Valley. Mrs. Abbott was the daughter of the late Hans Peter and Linda May Raagaard. She was a retired elementary school teacher for both Rio School District and Oxnard School District for more than 20 years. She was also a professional artist and owner and designer of Personal Touch Portraits. Mrs. Abbott attended Ventura College Cal Lutheran College and Scripps Womens College in Claremont class of 1959. She was a member of the Jr. Monday Club Salon Plain-air Painters and the Buenaventura Art Association. She loved music painting and beautiful outdoor scenery. She is survived by her daughters Karen and Courtney Abbott; son Richard Abbott; and grandchildren Nicole Abbott and Jeremy Corpus.
