  Rutland Herald (VT) October 13, 2005 Gladys L. Chapman left this earth peacefully on October 12, 2005, surrounded by her beloved family. Gladys was a remarkable woman who was known for her resounding laughter, untimely candor and an overall joy of life. Everyone she touched willingly gave away a piece of his or her heart to her, which she returned as a gift of unconditional love. Gladys was born on November 27, 1933, in Rutland, Vt., the daughter of Helen and Albert Stevens and stepfather, Albert Dziuba. She was employed for over 20 years by Marble Valley Regional Transit, where she cherished a "second family." Gladys's biggest success was her family, the center of her life. She will be forever present in the hearts of her children, Joseph Eddy and his wife Mona, Thomas Eddy, Charlene Wendy Cameron and Daniel Johns, Charles Cameron and his wife Kelly Anne; her brothers, Albert and Victor Dziuba; and sister, Nancy Stevens. Granny/Nana was adored by her seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Patricia Parent; her brother, Albert Stevens Jr.; and her three children, Marion, David and Joshua.
