  Ann Arbor News (MI) March 12, 2012 Barbara Brook Craig died peacefully March 4 after a brief illness in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Ann Arbor, at age 89. Barbara grew up in Detroit and Bloomfield Hills, raised a family in Birmingham, taught reading in Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands, and last resided at Glacier Hills in Ann Arbor. She was a graduate of Kingswood School and Scripps College. In 1945 Barbara married her 8th grade sweetheart Gordon Craig also of Bloomfield Hills, who served as President of Booth Newspapers, Inc. and the Inland Press Association. She is survived by her three sons, David L. Craig of Ann Arbor, Kip Craig of San Francisco, Brian N. Craig and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Craig of San Diego, sister Dorothy (Dodo) Miller of Harbor Springs, brother Peter W. Booth of Colorado Springs, and many nieces and nephews and their families.
