Algonac - Frank Haskell, 82, of 200 Butterfield Lane, died Saturday, September 9, 1979, in Marwood Manor, after a lengthy illness.
He was born Aug. 14, 1897, in Kenockee Township, and was an area resident for 30 years.
He married Cecile Stubbs, Dec. 26, 1921.
Mr. Haskell retired from the Chrysler Corp. Dodge Main Plant in 1960 after 46 years of service. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a World War I veteran, a life member of the Palestine Lodge 357 F. & A.M. and Charles Hammond Post 8, American Legion.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Valvin, Algonac; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Sutherland, Dearborn Heights; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
