BELLA VISTA- Ron Loucks was born in Pine Falls, Manitoba, Canada, on February 18, 1942 to Douglas & Charlotte Loucks. He passed away on November 25, 2007, while wintering with friends in AZ. He attended grade schools in Ochre River and Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. His family moved to Red Bluff, CA in 1959, where he attended Red Bluff High School and graduated from Shasta College. He then became a US Citizen.
For the last 32 years he was in partnership with his children in the construction business doing chipseal as Loucks Construction. Upon his retirement in November of 2006, his children continued on with the business. Before going into business for himself he had worked for E. J. Coley Construction & Commercial Equipment as business manager/commercial pilot, Safeway stores, & Diamond National Lumber Company.
He leaves behind his wife of 31 years, Cathy of Bella Vista, daughter Veronica Adams and husband Rob of Redding, son Duayne and wife Denise of Redding, son Tad and wife Cheryl of Shasta Lake City, son Stacy and wife Cyndee of Millville, step-daughter Angie Foreman and husband Bobby of Redding, 18 grandchildren, brother Terry and wife Chris of Ridgefield, WA, brother Darwin and wife Lore of Red Bluff, brother Keith and wife Barbara of Battle Ground, WA, numerous nieces and nephews.
Ron never knew a stranger, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Ron was preceded in death by parents Douglas and Charlotte Loucks of Red Bluff, CA.
