From Kath Davis Presley
I was told my dad always celebrated Christmas with a neighbor. Every ti
me I asked him about the scenario above he always went to another subject. The one thing he always talked about was spending his summers with the Henshaw's. As a matter of fact, he gave me Harold phone number to call when I needed to get in touch with him because he knew my stepmother did not always let me get through to him.
I know my father went to college but have no idea which college but I remember he played football. All I know is in his younger years he worked for FBI and retired from CIA. In between worked in my step-grandfather's exports/imports business in Peru for about a year. (He is written up in the book The Bay of Pigs: The Untold Story by Peter Wyden. Good luck finding it. I have been looking but so far no luck. Saw it once in the library and laughed when I saw the picture of him because he had his favorite shirt on.)
My father's first wife name is Maria Elena Moragas and I understand he met her in Chili and marriage was annulled 5/9/1944 (Filled in Minnehaba County, SD). His second wife name is Joan Hamlin Lyon and they were married on 7/1/1994 in the home of Dr. and Mrs. J. H. Cheney - 626 East 21 Street on Saturday at 8Pm. Alabama divorce 9/29/1961. They had two children - Robert Kendall Davis, Jr. and Kathleen Davis. His third and last wife is Diana S. (Do not know when they got married),
My mother lived in Lima, Peru and worked at the US Embassy where she met my dad. He was the Attache of US Embassy in Peru then he was stationed in Sioux Falls in 1994 under the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Then worked for my stepgrandfather after he married my mother and then CIA and he was stationed numerous places before he retired. As a family lived in Panama, Puerto Rico and Guatemala. After Guatemala came to live in Maryland and my parents divorced.
