  The Goshen Daily News-Times January 3, 1894 Mrs. Frank Knapp died in Chicago on Thursday last from the effects of an unsuccesful surgical operation performed a few days previous. The deceased was about 35 years of age and a daughter of the late Judge Chamberlain. She formerly resided in Goshen but removed to Chicago some years ago. She leaves a husband and daughter and numerous relatives to mourn her untimely death. The funeral occured from the residence of her sister, Mrs. Frank G. Hubbell, in this city, and the remains interred in Oak Ridge cemetery on Saturday.
