  The Hillsdale Daily News (MI) February 14, 2007 Francis R. "Dick" Elliott, 95, of Hillsdale, passed away, Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility. He was born May 5, 1911, in Hillsdale County, to Francis N. and Ethel (Mosher) Elliott. On Aug. 15, 1947, he married Lucille Jenkins and she survives. Dick was a machinist for Allied Products, was a member of the Hillsdale Masonic Lodge, and the Knights of Pythians. Along with his wife, Lucille, he is survived by daughters, Mary (Michael) Reiter of Berkley, Calif., and Elizabeth Elliott and Doyle Scharp of Reading; a son, Francis B. (Bonnie) Elliott of Hillsdale and a former daughter-in-law, Linda Tryon. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Ruth Rolfe and three brothers, Rex Pattison, David Melton, and Daniel Elliott.
