  Bangor Daily News (ME) December 13, 2023 Bangor - Susan Marie Haskell, also known as 'Suzy Q', passed away in Bangor on December 9, 2023 after a brief but brave battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Born to Carole and Thomas Lawson on May 13, 1969, she grew up and made her life in Central Maine. Excelling in the medical billing field, she made her career of 17 years at Northern Light Healthcare. Susan will be dearly missed by her friends and loved ones. She is survived by her son, Josh, and his partner Steve as well as her sisters Kelly and Sandy Lawson, niece Stephanie Legasse, nephews Michael and Thomas Lawson, and great-nephew Brayden Rodriguez, and brother Mark Lawson. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Brian Lawson. Susan had a deep love for Christmas and everything associated with it. The season held a special place in her heart. Additionally, she had a special place in her heart for Old Orchard Beach, where she spent time making cherished memories. Susan loved spending time with friends at the Bangor Elks Lodge. She had a special place in her heart for all members there, especially Ken Hatch, Judy Ellis, and Kathy Gates.
