HASKELL, John E. – 911 Moore st., age 53, died Friday, August 31, 1973, at Otsego Memorial Hospital, Gaylord, Michigan. Death was due to complications following a 3 month illness.
Mr. Haskell was born in Flint, Michigan, November 1, 1919, the son of Ralph and Christine Rise Haskell, and had been a resident of Flint his entire life. He married Addie Sewell in Flint, April 27, 1947. Mr. Haskell had been employed by Buick Motor Division for 32 years in the Shipping and Receiving Department.
Surviving are: wife Addie; 5 daughters, Mrs. Delbert (Aleline) Barnhart, of Mt. Morris, Mrs. Robert (Sally) Smith of Genesee, Michigan, Miss Patricia Haskell, Miss Christine Haskell, Miss Tammy Haskell, all of Flint; son John C. Haskell of Flint; 8 grandchildren; 5 sisters, Mrs. Harold Stafford, Mrs. William Bird, and Mrs. Tom Thomas, all of Flint, Mrs. Lawrence Sewell of Flushing, and Mrs. Edward Cowell of Mt. Morris; 2 brothers, Clifford Haskell of Flint and Ralph of Schwartz Creek; several nieces and nephews.
