The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Eugene for Janie E. Diment of Eugene, who died March 3 of heart failure. She was 64. A celebration of life will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. April 11 at Laurelwood Golf Course in Eugene.
She was born July 18, 1944, in Sequim, Wash., to Stanton and Nita MacGregor Gaumer. She married Don Diment on June 11, 1966, in Portland.
Diment taught at McNary High School in Salem, South Eugene High, Westmoreland Elementary, Kelly Middle and Monroe Middle schools in Eugene, for the Pleasant Hill School District and at Yolanda Elementary in the Springfield School District.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Matthew and Morgan, both of Eugene; her mother, now of Eugene; and two sisters, Julie McKenzie of Eugene and Cindy Wallace of Corvallis.
