  The Dispatch-Argus (Moline, IL) April 13, 1997 Delmar K. Bealer, 84, Rock Island, died Friday, April 11, 1997, at Trinity Medical Center, East Campus, Moline. Mr. Bealer was born Oct. 7, 1912, in Rock Island, the son of Frank and Sallie Means Bealer. He married Helen L. Brissman Oct. 7, 1933, in Rock Island. He had been a supervisor at the former Rock Island Mill Works for 471/2 years, retiring in 1977. He had served as financial secretary of the church since 1960 and after retirement had served as a part-time custodian at the church. He was a former member of the church council and had served as Sunday school superintendent for 15 years. He enjoyed wood working. Surviving are his wife; daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Gayle Anderson, Indianapolis; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Donna Bealer, Maquoketa, Iowa; grandchildren, Jolene, Jill, Kelly and Jay; great-grandchildren, Alec and Megan; stepgrandchildren, Mike and Jodi; and sisters, Kathleen Owens, Overland Park, Kan., and Doris Abbott, St. Petersburg, Fla. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeff, and a brother, Leonard.
