  The Dispatch-Argus (Moline, IL) October 2, 2003 Helen L. Brissman Bealer, 89, of Hooverwood Home, Indianapolis, Ind., formerly of Rock Island, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2003, at the home. She was born Feb. 5, 1914. She graduated from Rock Island High School. She married Delmar Bealer in 1933. He died in 1997. Mrs. Bealer worked at the former St. Anthony's Hospital and in the office at First Lutheran Church. She was active in the church, teaching Sunday school and Bible school, the youth program and sang in the choir for many years. Survivors include a son, Jim, and his wife Marilyn, Maquoketa, Iowa; daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Gayle Anderson, Indianapolis; four granchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers and their wives, Grant and Virginia Brissman, Moline, Jack and Shirley Cook, Rock Island, and Charles and Elva Cook, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
