Visitation for Dorothy Laurene Bristow, 71, will be Mond
ay from 5 to 8 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d'Alene. Service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Cemetery in Coeur d'Alene.
Mrs. Bristow, who was born in Lincoln, Neb., died Tuesday. She grew up and attended schools in Lincoln before moving to Forest Grove, Ore., where she worked at the Hudson-Duncan Cannery. Mrs. Bristow moved to Portland and worked at Montgomery Ward. In 1958 she married Lemuel "Al" Bristow. They settled in California and managed various motels. They later moved to Prineville, Ore., and she was a volunteer at the Soroptimist Store there. They moved to Hayden in 1998.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Leonard Hascall of Nampa, Idaho, Tracy Bristow of Prineville and Scott Bristow of Hayden; a daughter, Candy Landers of California; a brother, Harry Preece of California; a sister, Marilyn Schneberger of Nebraska; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
